Nokia Siemens Networks Plans to Lay Off 17 000 Jobs

Nokia Siemens Networks is planning to lay off 17 000 employees by the end of 2013. They also plan to cut $1.35 billion from their costs.

Nokia Siemens Networks reason for this is competition such as Swedish Ericsson and Chinese vendor Huawei.

The future of Nokia Siemens Networks is real estate, information technology, mobile broadband, and other services.

This strategy is aimed at increasing the quality of the business. It's just a matter of time before it gets worse.
